AstroJour calculates your KP chart from your birth details and matches you to real people — leaders, artists, scientists — who lived through the same Mahadasha alignment.
Their story is the data. You decide if the pattern holds.
Krishnamurti Paddhati (KP) is a refined system of Vedic astrology that pinpoints your Moon's exact position in the sky at birth and maps it to a precise planetary timeline. Not vague archetypes — a calculable sequence.
KP uses your Moon's exact degree to place it in one of 27 Nakshatras — lunar mansions far more specific than the 12 Sun signs most people know. This is your foundational energy signature.
Based on your Nakshatra, KP assigns you a sequence of 9 planetary periods called Dashas. Each planet rules for a fixed number of years — Ketu 7, Venus 20, Sun 6, Moon 10, Mars 7, Rahu 18, Jupiter 16, Saturn 19, Mercury 17.
Each Mahadasha divides into Antardashas, which divide further into Pratyantar Dashas. This three-tier system gives you a specific planetary combination for any given week — not just a general year.
A generic Moon-sign match gives you a broad peer group. An Exact Match — same Moon sign, same Mahadasha, same Antardasha — gives you someone who ran nearly the same planetary combination you are running right now.
AstroJour searches for Exact Matches first, then falls back to Close Matches (same main period) and Sign Matches (same Moon sign) so you always get meaningful comparisons.
We don't ask you to believe anything. We find historical figures who shared your alignment and show you what their lives looked like during that period. Their outcomes are the data.
